Ok so I had to write something for my english
Something from a blind person's point of veiw
This is what i came up with ><

In the darkness of my everyday life
I saw a speck of light
It was vague but still i saw it
A slight brightness in my vision

Not everything is lost,
There is still hope for me
To see
To survive
To just be me

As I was led by the hand,
Like a small kid
Through who knows where
With lefts and rights
And complicated turns through a maze
I felt excitement bubble within me

Cold air hits me
As I hear the light jingle of the bell
a sign of the opening door

Upon stepping in
I was overwhelmed with the excited chatter that greeted me
I was ushered to my seat
And welcomed cheerfully and warmly

One did not have to see
To know that everyone was happy
Laughter could be heard from every corner
People were genuinely enjoying themselves

Here I would not be looked down upon
Here was where I belonged
Where I could be me
I felt right at home
I was comfortable and happy
